We've been so busy this week. Braden's birthday party was last Sunday the 19th. He had such a great time. He got lots of really nice gifts. (thank you everyone!) Too bad it was rainy most of the day, his cousins would have loved to play in their new playhouse. Maybe another time. He had a Curious George party! It was really cute.

This week we got out our cabana(its a tent for the beach for the kids). So Jon and the kids have been 'hiding' in there when he is home. They have so much fun playing in there. Jon wanted to get them, mostly Braden, exicted for our upcoming trip. Sunday we got some disheartening news. First my grandparents aren't moving to Evansville as originally planned. Then my best friend Susie got some HORRIBLE news. Her Uncle Fred was in a tradegic accident and he passed away. He and his wife raised Susie and her sisters, so he was a father to her. She's taking it pretty hard. And it really has made me think about how life is so short. I wish my grandparents would understand that and realize they really need to move back.

I took the kids to the mall on Monday to play with their friends. It was still kind of chilly out until about Wednesday or Thursday this week. But once the nice weather hit we have been outside non stop! The kids have thoroughly enjoyed playing outside. Which has allowed me some time to get somethings down in the backyard as far as my landscaping. I'm pulling weeds and trying to get our new bed ready for some planting!!! Maybe when we get back from vacation.

So Jon works a lot this week and next, but then we are headed to Panama City Beach on May 2! Such beautiful weather we have been having, but VERY windy! We are ready for a nice week on the beach with the kids!
